1. Single Purpose & Architecture
Barcode and QR Code Generator for Google Sheets™ is developed by NEXT7. Its sole purpose is to convert cell text, URLs, numbers, and SKU codes into visual vector QR codes and barcodes within Google Sheets™.
2. Minimal OAuth Permissions & Data Access
The add-on requests strictly the least permissive OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets.currentonly: Grants access strictly to the currently open spreadsheet where you run the add-on. It has no access to any other files or folders in your Google Drive™.
Zero External Transmission: All barcode and QR code algorithms (Reed-Solomon error correction and Code 128 encoding) execute locally in Google Apps Script and browser runtime. Your spreadsheet contents and generated codes are never transmitted to, stored on, or logged by external servers.
3. Google API Limited Use Requirements
Google Workspace User Data Policy Compliance:
NEXT7's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We do not sell user data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
- We do not retain, share, or analyze spreadsheet contents.
- We do not train generalized AI models on user spreadsheet data.
